Greenville, SC Jeanette, my daughter, used to live in Greenville and had shown me the how nice the downtown area is. I decided to ride down and explore it some more. I went to see the Liberty Bridge on the Reedy River at the Falls Park. It is a unique suspension bridge connecting a charming park right at the Reedy river in downtown Greenville. While there, I also went to the Mast General Store which is always a fun place to explore.

19th I was so far behind on my newsletters and needed to check to see if any
bills were due, so I got a motel room at the Comfort Inn Executive Center on N.
Pleasantburg Dr in Greenville.
It was important to have a good Internet connection. The first room did not have
a strong wireless signal so I went to see Teresa at the front desk. She was great and
very personable She gave me the key to another room to try and also gave me a
wireless booster. I was all set then.
20th This morning I had breakfast at the motel. There were a lot of sorority
girls at breakfast since they had rented a meeting room to practice a routine
they were going to do at school. Rather than having a self serve juice and
bagels, the motel has a cook who makes custom omelets and other goodies for
the guests. His mane was Bobby. He had been doing this for 26 years. There are a number of repeat customers on his account. Bobby has
a quick smile and cheerful attitude. I asked him what he had done before this.
He told me he drove a truck, but “I got tired,” he said. He went on to say
when he started driving the truck that he had only been married a short period
and had seen other trucker's families fall apart since they were not around
much. He wanted to make a fast buck, but “I prefer my family to that dollar”
he declared. This afternoon, I head to Greenwood, SC.
